My lovely client has made my day by sending me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers, thank you card and leaving me a five-star review. Read on to see how I was able to help…
My Client’s Story
My client had less than two years of employment with their employer. However, I assessed all the facts of the case and believed my client had good prospects of success for claims of both automatic unfair dismissal (time off for dependants) and disability discrimination at the Employment Tribunal.
Before deciding on the best course of action, I discussed funding options with my client and managed to put in place funding through her home insurance (legal expenses cover). I then lodged claims at the Employment Tribunal on my client’s behalf.
Although it took some to progress the claim through the various stages of attending a preliminary hearing, working on disclosure of documents, and finalising the evidence bundle, I was really pleased to be able to settle the claim with a significant compensation package and positive reference for my client. My client was delighted and provided the following feedback.
What were the circumstances that caused you to look for a legal adviser?
Dismissed unfairly
