My Client’s Story
My client contacted me after being offered a Settlement Agreement as a means of bringing their employment to an end. I spent a great deal of time with my client listening to their story, assessing the strength of their position, and considering the terms and effects of their Settlement Agreement with them.
Following our appointment, I provided a full written advice on their position, and it was clear that significant drafting issues within their Agreement needed to be resolved. On behalf of my client, I was then instructed to negotiate various changes to the payments, reference, and announcement clauses within the Agreement. After just a few days, an updated version of the Agreement was provided, and my client was very happy to sign and complete the process.
