I recently concluded a very lengthy Employment Tribunal Claim for my client and was delighted to receive a positive Five Star Review. For more information read on…
My Client’s Story
My client had always been happy and successful at work. However, in recent years, he had developed a serious health condition which meant certain changes to his way of working were needed. After several occupational health referrals and discussions about his work and medical condition, my client found himself in the unpleasant position of being dismissed by reason of alleged incapability.
How Did I Assist My Client?
My client initially booked in to see me for what we term a Fixed Fee Consultation. Further details of this service can be reviewed here – https://lincslaw.co.uk/fees/employees/.
During the Fixed Fee Consultation, I assessed my client’s situation as giving rise to claims for Unfair Dismissal and Disability Discrimination. Having confirmed all my advice in writing (including the specific types of claims, the estimated value of those claims, time limits, the necessary next steps to progress his matter, along with funding options), my client instructed me to act on his behalf throughout the Employment Tribunal process.
After a lengthy litigation process, including attendance at what is termed a Dispute Resolution Appointment with an Employment Judge, I was delighted to successfully conclude my client’s claim with a settlement in his favour.
My Client’s Review
I was very happy to help my client and so pleased they provided the following review –
“Successful Outcome – Sophie was instrumental in securing a successful outcome to my complex disability discrimination and unfair dismissal claim…. Throughout nearly three years of litigation, Sophie kept me fully informed, offered invaluable guidance and handled the legalities professionally and always in accordance with the required deadlines. I always knew that Sophie was ‘on the ball’ and doing her best to progress my claim despite the obstacles placed before us…If you have an employment law problem I would not hesitate to recommend Lins Law and Sophie specifically”.
